Welcome to CP Biology! I expect that you have enrolled in this course because you are interested in science and motivated to succeed. Those of you who participate, work hard, and have fun will enjoy both positive recognition and success.
Biology is a yearlong study of living organisms, their environment and their relationship to one another. This course is designed to introduce you to the major themes in biology and how they impact your daily life. My hope is that our study of the living world, including us, will deepen your appreciation of the beauty, complexity and interconnectedness of all life on Earth. |

Directions: --> First, make a copy of this document. Share with all of your group members and Ms. Welsh (kwelsh@lvusd.org). This is where you will compile your first round of research. As we continue this research based study, you will convert specific elements your research into a presentation to deliver to the class. You will be turning in this document, as well as your final presentation.
--> Second, divide the following questions up amongst your team. Be sure to indicate (by color of text, font, or writing in names, etc.) who in your group answers what questions. **Questions = lengthier responses - these should be divided up 1 per person!
--> Third - get to researching! Responses to each question should be thorough and detailed. (at least one solid paragraph per response) Finally, responses should be written in your own words. Paraphrasing is okay, but please don’t forget to cite your sources.
